Art Club

The Art Club at Johnstown High School offers students the opportunity to work in a studio setting on their own creations while getting valuable feedback from their peers.  The club is open to all students, grades 9-12.  Meetings are planned at least once a month, sometimes more often, depending on special projects that the club is involved in.  During the meetings, students gain the time, atmosphere and resources to work on projects that they might not otherwise get a chance to experience.  The club advisors rely on student input and ideas for projects that they would like to do, and most of the time work with students individually to guide them through their chosen approach, technique or medium.  Students often get a chance to share their time and talent by working on special projects within our community.  The club is advised by Ms. Maloy and Mrs. Patula.
