find Frank frontino I am the principal / vocational director here at Johnstown High School I started in the greater Johnstown School District 15 years ago as the Middle School assistant principal and then I was assigned the elementary school principal at Eastside and this current year High School principal / locational director I love to be around kids I love to help kids to the is like you know what you're going through  we're all going through this life together and I think it's important for us to be there for each other not just meeting help me on my journey through this life again side terrific terrific kids here at the school district but I would have to say that I've never seen so many people care for one another as the teachers care for the kids and the kids not to show caring for each other also if you didn't stration we need we stop at nothing to help children succeed in life and that's that's so important today basically what brought me into this class is that I love her and I'm loved our ever since I was a kid I've always draw and I'm always you know about doing stuff like that I come from a long history of actually Madonna are my dad summer months download a short amount of time a lot of people and I guess I did a lot of lettering graffiti I did a lot of it's like small things just not that big huge projects don't like little things I see around my house I tried to draw them and it wouldn't always great but when I was younger Father Style tell you his legacy at anyway he does Best Buy take Automotive my dad's a welder so when I was looking all the shots he pulled me over there my favorite part is like she's working hard to get my hands dirty I plan to go to Military and get hard water works with iPhone I like doing that having all those small parts and kind of challenges taking it all apart and you keeping track of everything that you took apart and putting it back together in the feeling you get when you turn it on it's actually working again it's a pretty some life lessons I've taken from this course would consist of working as a team is one of the most important things because when you come across the challenge especially when it comes to computers and you work together things get done faster more efficiently and the users more happy class when it came to the high school I was also really didn't know so I figured that would be something I would really good at I always had an interest in the house Georgia I have student probably more than they will have any other teacher in their in their lives even in college because they're with me for 4 years two to three Forks so I'm getting pretty close to my students are not my children but they they seem like it to me and I keep up with them when they graduate all right good relationship sports goods how to tell if you don't get to do great things the teacher of our vocation and Welding it's a growing industry I tell the students Walters stuffing made in a welder doesn't touch some part of my believe we're $400,000 short in this country in general for 1500 or 15000 just in this state welding is growing field in flood opportunity for him up there for 10 year olds like a family and especially in the vocational Department here will we work together I have a lot of projects like a go-kart right now for working with welding and ottoman and we have what I like to call the Trojan family here and and everyone really work together to support kids and support kids and their future at after they leave here I love the projects rights of the kids get to come in there not sitting in desk unless lectures and notes they're able to come in and actually create things so we use all the tools and resources to try to solve problems and they would come in and group projects and solve all kinds of different problems YouTube professional Park bigger and stronger as location for children who are waiting for skills that they learned in class to get a training for work changing aspects of collision repair & Auto Body as you know the cars change every year to do models and new procedures procedures every year they're coming up the aluminum cars now that's going to be a challenge for me being how I haven't been in the industry for 17 years I've been here teaching so as far as me knowing how to do the aluminum repairs is a little bit of a challenge so I look forward to keeping up and further in so I can fast at home toning student programs that we have here are going to be in demand students graduate like I said there's going to be a shortage you should qualify trains me makes me want to come to work every day with the kids and seeing them grow and how they learn how to fix computers and every other type of technology I like the score I think it's a wonderful school and there's some opportunity here at the whole between the vocational program in the academic so really good so I think anyone can find where they fit in here and then I enjoy working with students I enjoy auntie and when I know about the healthcare field just allowing them to know what to expect in the future as a healthcare provider or possibly a registered nurse doesn't matter what grades do the students have or where they come from background I believe Johnstown High School is giving every student opportunity to Excel or to broaden our Horizons and to get a good feel for what they will actually want to do in the future and this Allied Health program as a good start for anybody that's wants to be and how professional I am really get good Smooth hair salon Play Spoiled usually the students that pick the vocational courses want to be a nurse courses and our students are typically known as being a little unique a little different and I love that because I was in pursuit of my stuff so I typically have a very good rapport with the kids I have a lot of kids to keep in touch with me to come back to visit me from college and especially the ones who are pursuing careers in the art I guess one of the students come in as a sophomore practices stick with it see how they do Crown by the time they're seniors they're ready for their state board, they can take it or very successful was there Nazis and are ready to graduate cosmetology students are here at the school. The Best of Both Worlds and career paths in an academic. the joys of me coming to work every day is being able to engage the minds of my students this allows me to help them with their purpose in life and finding a job whether it's here in teaching us where are out in the field as another career or just simply leaving here with a high school diploma pasta menu out of soda play Simon and opportunity to be creative and then you see that light go on in there in her eyes and the NPR one when something finally clicks this program further than just me yo man dating what they're going to do fight by doing that and they have ownership of this program this truly is there program
