Marching Band

The Greater Johnstown High School Trojan Marching Band is an extra-curricular activity with sign-ups taking place in May of each year.  Students in grades 7 & 8 are also encouraged to sign-up.  Anyone interested in joining the band will be accepted.  There is no pre-requisite required. 

 

The Marching Band has many different roles throughout the fall season.  Every Friday night you will find the band supporting the Johnstown Trojan football team as they fight for a district championship.  On Saturdays, the band switches to a competitive mode and travels to local Tournament of Bands competitions which culminate in Hershey, PA every November.  The band can also be found marching in local parades and community events throughout their season.
